Canelo Alvarez vs. Jaime Munguia - Oscar De La Hoya makes incredible Ferrari comparison

Oscar De La Hoya believes Jaime Munguia’s younger age will be a huge advantage when he collides with Canelo Alvarez next month.  

The all-Mexican affair will see Canelo compete against six years his junior and De La Hoya is hopeful that his charge can make it count. 

The former promoter of Canelo has high hopes for Munguia and victory over his countryman can move him to another level.  

Super-middleweight glory is on the line and De La Hoya is confident that Munguia can become only the third man to beat Canelo after Floyd Mayweather and Dmitry Bivol. 

“When Canelo was Munguia's age, he was a dangerous fighter,” said De La Hoya when speaking to BoxingScene. 

“He still is, but it's like a new Ferrari versus a classic Ferrari. You can't push the classic Ferrari to the limit anymore.”
