William Gallas praises one player after Arsenal trounce Chelsea

William Gallas picked out Kai Havertz for his performance for Arsenal against Chelsea in midweek.

Arsenal received three points and a boost to their confidence with an impressive 5-0 win, and Havertz provided two of the goals as he continued his excellent form of 2024.

The German was sold by Chelsea to Arsenal last summer and took a while to settle in to his new club, but has been integral to their recent success.

Speaking to Lord Ping , former Chelsea and Arsenal defender Gallas said he was impressed.

He said: “I have to admit that Kai Havertz played well. He had a good game against Chelsea. 

“He scored a couple of goals; he could have had more. 

“He tried to be a good team mate in one situation by laying on an assist when he should have had a shot, but he had a great game.”
