Manny Pacquiao's advisor gives huge update on potential Conor McGregor fight

Manny Pacquiao is still looking to return to the ring, but it doesn't look like his next fight will be against Conor McGregor.  

Pacquiao has not fought professionally since he was defeated by Yordenis Ugas in 2021 and that appeared to be his final fight.  

In recent months, speculation has increased about the Filipino legend making a comeback with bouts against McGregor and Conor Benn rumoured.  

Sean Gibbons, an advisor to the multi-weight world champion, has stated that a contest against the MMA star is highly unlikely. 

“It was always really a great dream for him and Conor McGregor, but Conor’s got so much UFC business or whatever,” said Gibbons when speaking to BoxingScene.  

“Manny’s got about nine months left because he’s going to run for office again, so he’s still actively looking for something.”
