Buffalo Bills get brutal reality check on Super Bowl hopes from NFL legend

Two-time Super Bowl winner Chris Long believes the Buffalo Bills' Super Bowl window has closed. 

The Bills have been knocking on the Super Bowl door for five years. Sadly, Buffalo has failed to reach the Super Bowl in those five consecutive playoff appearances. 

Heartbreaking defeats to the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals are significant 'what-if' moments for Buffalo. 

And with the start of free agency seeing many incumbent Bills players leaving, it feels like the end of an era. 

And Chris Long concurs. Speaking on his Green Light podcast, Long said, "Buffalo's window is closing. They must nail the draft because they've lost six starters. Mitch Morse, Jordan Poyer, Gabe Davis, Tre White, Dane Jackson, and Leonard Floyd.

"Poyer especially is a huge loss. As is Morse because he's snapped the ball to Josh Allen for five years. Even Floyd, because they don't have a legitimate outside pass-rusher."

The Bills have tried to address some of these departures with solid acquisitions. They have signed wide receiver Curtis Samuel to a three-year deal and re-signed DaQuan Jones and A.J. Epenesa. 

Nevertheless, Buffalo is a team to watch this offseason. How they restock their roster for another Super Bowl challenge will be a significant topic.
