Travis Kelce pulls in hop hip icon to headline 'Kelce Jam' festival

Super Bowl-winning tight end Travis Kelce has confirmed the details of his second annual ‘Kelce Jam’ festival, which will take place in Kansas City next month.

The Chiefs star will take to the stage in Kansas City on Saturday, May 18 to host the festival for the second time at the Azura Amphithater, with hip hop icon Lil Wayne headling the event.

Other acts to appear include 2 Chainz and Diplo during the seven-hour event, which will incorporate local restaurant pop-ups.

Last year saw Kelce spike the Vince Lombardi Trophy while on stage, with the 34-year-old later confessing that it was a replica trophy on his ‘New Heights’ podcast alongside his brother Jason.

"I'm excited to once again welcome fans for the ultimate day of music, food and an electric experience celebrating Kansas City," Kelce said in a press release. "Last year you exceeded my expectations when over 20,000 fans showed up in the rain to 'fight for your right to party,' and this year promises to be even more over the top as we welcome Lil Wayne, Diplo and 2Chainz to the stage!"

Anyone hoping for an appearance from Kelce’s partner Taylor Swift will be disappointed however, as she will be performing in Stockholm during the European leg of her Eras Tour that evening.
