Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson - WBC president gives his verdict on huge fight

Mauricio Sulaiman is supportive of the upcoming clash between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson and thinks that the event can be good for boxing.  

The bout, which takes place in July, will see Paul, now one of the most popular personalities about, take on the former heavyweight champion of the world. 

Last year, Paul lost his unbeaten record when he was defeated on points by Tommy Fury despite dropping his rival.  

Paul has rebounded well with some impressive wins, but in Tyson, he’ll be facing one of boxing’s most legendary names.  

Sulaiman has had his say on this summer’s meeting. 

“He is a young, strong upcoming fighter with great social media followers and if it is an exhibition then we have to support it, it is good for boxing,” said Sulaiman on Paul, and the fight, when speaking to OLBG. 

“So, let’s support it and make it a great event for kids to look up to Mike Tyson and Jake Paul."
