NFL Draft 2024: Which team has the first pick tonight? Full draft order for round 1

One of the biggest dates in the NFL offseason is almost among us as the NFL Draft gets underway next week. 

All 32 NFL franchises will take turns to select the best college football prospects over three days in Detroit as they look to restock their rosters and unearth their next superstars. 

But who has the first pick and what is the order for the first round?

NFL Draft 2024: Which team has the first pick? 

The Chicago Bears have the first overall selection in this year’s draft, after making a trade last year with the Carolina Panthers, who finished with 2023 a 2-15 record, the worst in the NFL.

That trade saw the Panthers acquire last year’s first overall selection from the Bears in exchange for last year’s No. 9 and No. 61 picks, this year’s first-rounder, a second-round pick next year, plus wide receiver D.J. Moore. 

It also means the Bears have two picks in the top ten, as their 7-10 finish last season means they have the No. 9 pick.
