Austin Trout enjoyed a successful career as professional boxer as he enjoyed an eventful reign as world champion at 154lbs.

In 2012, Trout burst into the mainstream when he produced something of a minor upset to defeat Miguel Cotto in a bout where many expected the Puerto Rican to win.

Trout would eventually taste defeat against Canelo Alvarez the following year but his performances against the elite pair ensured he stayed in the world class category.

Despite further losses to the likes of Jermell and Jermall Charlo, and Jarrett Hurd, Trout would continue his career inside the ring until 2023 until making a chance earlier this year.

After achieving plenty as a boxer, Trout is now riding high in the bare knuckle fighting world after claiming a title earlier this year against Luis Palomino.

The win earned Trout the BKFC welterweight crown and he’s due to defend that belt this summer.
