Hawaii's Hiram Thompson scored three straight points to cut the lead to 60-56 with 25 seconds to play, but Guyton hit two more free throws. The Bulldogs shot only 51.7 percent from the line (15-for-29). Magnum Rolle added 12 points, Guyton had 11, DeAndre Brown scored 10 and Ashaolu added 11 rebounds. Thompson scored 14, Roderick Flemings had 13 and Brandon Adams added 12 for Hawaii (9-15, 2-9).
