Jurgen Klopp provides update on clash with Mohamed Salah

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says his argument with Mohamed Salah "is completely resolved".

The pair played out a very public touchline spat during Liverpool's 2-2 draw away at West Ham United last weekend.

After benching the Egyptian winger for the trip to London, Salah then appeared to refuse a handshake from Klopp as he was about to be brought on as a substitute.

The pair then exchanged heated words and videos from the game show them walking past one another at full-time without talking.

But speaking to the media ahead of the weekend, Klopp said: "It's completely resolved. It's no problem.

"If we didn't know each other for so long I'm not sure how we would deal with it but we know each other for that long and respect each other too much.

"It's really no problem so we can deal with these kind of things completely independent of any expectations from the outside.

"We are absolutely fine with it but in general the best situation would be, everybody in the best possible place, we win the game, score lots of goals and yes the situation probably would not have been like that. It all depends on each other."

Liverpool will be looking to get back to winning ways when they take on Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Sunday, 5 May.
