Former Arsenal defender predicts outcome ahead of trip to Man City in Premier League title race

Former Manchester City and Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna believes that the two teams will draw this weekend.

Along with Liverpool, City and Arsenal are in the hunt for the Premier League title as the end of the season draws close, and Pep Guardiola’s men will welcome Arsenal to the Etihad on Sunday afternoon.

Both teams have been in impressive form of late and remain in contention for the Champions League as well as the biggest domestic trophy, and speaking to Paddy Power, the former French international said: “I can see Manchester City and Arsenal drawing at the Etihad. 

“At home, Manchester City tend to be exposed because they attack so much that they leave themselves open to the counterattack and we know how fast Arsenal’s players are. 

“It’s a strength to attack so much because they can put any team under pressure, but Arsenal can also put pressure on teams, so I think it’ll be a draw.”
