New opponent confirmed for Dmitry Bivol on June 1 following Artur Beterbiev injury

A huge fight was scheduled for June 1 with Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev finally meeting for the undisputed light heavyweight title in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

It was a contest which when officially announced, generated plenty of excitement, but the boxing world will have to wait a little bit longer for this meeting after Beterbiev was forced to pull out due to injury on May 4.

Bivol, who is the WBA light heavyweight champion, will still fight next month and his new opponent has been revealed by Turki Alalshikh in a post on X
