Bob Arum provides big update on whether he'd work with pound-for-pound superstar

Bob Arum once enjoyed a brilliant relationship with Terence Crawford after guiding the Nebraska man to world titles.

The arrangement ended in 2021 after Crawford defeated Shawn Porter and he spent his recent fights under different promotional banners.

This August, Crawford is scheduled to return to the ring as he moves to 154lbs to face Israil Madrimov.

Crawford’s name continues to be linked to a fight with Canelo Alvarez at some point this year, but if he chooses a different direction in the future, Arum would be eager to welcome him back to Top Rank.

“I never take anything personally. It's a business. If we had the right fighter at the right money, and it satisfied Crawford, would we do a Crawford fight? Of course we would,” said Arum when speaking to BoxingScene.

“There is no animosity there. In that case, things were said that shouldn't have been said on both parts.

“Terence is a great fighter. If we had something that was appealing to him, I believe he would come back to do a fight with us, and we would certainly do a fight with him.”
